Street Geometrics is inspired by drain/manhole covers, fencing and grating patterns and street markings. Street Geometric's is for fashion based textiles for Autumn/Winter 2017-18 and it is a mixed media project showcasing techniques such as fabric manipulation, laser cutting, screen, digital and heat press printing, hand stitch and sonic welding. The colours in this project are inspired by street art/graffiti and also current trends. I have explored a wide variety of materials for this project for their textural, matt and shiny qualities including Neoprene's, Jersey's, Denims and Leatherette's.
